ABOUT ME

My name is Tommaso (Tom for short) Liu. These are some info about me:

  • 240+ Manga Pages on commission
  • 2 original oneshot manga for international contests
  • 60+ Illustrations and character designs on commission
  • I have drawn by myself 2 manga pages (almost) every week for 3-4 years
  • I have 25+ years of experience in drawing, especially manga style.

But honestly, by todays standards, I’m a nobody.

I don’t ask you to trust me on my school credentials or follower popularity.

WHY I DO THIS

I’ve been drawing since I was 3, but my asian parents never believed it could become a career so I had to learn everything by myself, without YouTube tutorials or blogs for most part of my life… (I’m that “old”).

I was very frustrated with the books and tutorials available today since they don’t cover nearly enough about all the things that someone has to actually do to finish even one manga chapter…

So I want to help aspiring artists / mangaka who don’t know where to start and how to create their first manga, but more importantly, and I want to help you believe that you can do it.
